• Restore broadcast of CBC television in Kamloops

  • Launch a six-channel package of free over-the-air stations

  • Establish CBC Radio one studio in Kamloops

  • Establish CBC TV studio in Kamloops

 
     
  When our local television station ceased affiliation with CBC Television in February of 2006, that was the end of free broadcast CBC television in Kamloops.  
     
  In August of 2007, the CBC decided to expand Kelowna's radio production instead of building a studio here.  Kelowna has CBC TV facilities, we deserve one also.  
     
  Free TV in Kamloops is threatened.  Our only local broadcaster has no plans to replace the old transmitter.  Digital TV would allow for six standard channels to be broadcast on one transmitter.
